A dancing continuity announcer

Tommy Twinkle Toes has made it to radio 4

He will announce the PM programme hosted by the very lovely Eddie Mair

Tommy is one of the five  winners of this BBC radio 4 continuity announcer competition, 3400 people applied 

We giggled when Alice Arnold wondered where on earth the recording of Tommy was made.

Well Alice it was in a church hall in Bensham, Gateshead and Tommy did it in one take in the middle of his dance class. Who says men can't multi task?!

Such a great opportunity for Tommy who volunteers in care homes and schools and who  has found a fulfilling way of communicating and expressing himself  through his love of dancing.

Radio 4 needs more dancing.......!
